Stakeholder Forum on 10/11/2022 – ePLANET platform introduction

We would like to invite you on behalf of the ePLANET team to the next Stakeholder Forum. The forum will provide an insight in the latest developments. It will take place on 10 November 2022 at 10:00 (CET).

This session will provide an insight to the early version of the ePLANET platform with a focus on the usability of the platform itself and the first 2 out of 4 use cases we are going to implement:

-       Digitalisation of Sustainable Energy Climate and Action Plans drafting and monitoring process standardisation

-       Analysis of the energy performance of the public building stock

Please register for the event in advance under https://fedarene.org/ghost/eplanet-stakeholder-forum/

During the Stakeholder Forums, you will have the opportunity to get early insights and access to preliminary project results from a very early stage. We consider your contributions and feedback especially valuable to help us in tailoring our developments towards your regional specifics and to support your current work in delivering the energy transition.

Stakeholder Forum:

The ePLANET Stakeholder Forums will be a series of online meetings with the aim to share early results of the project with potential users or beneficiaries. For the design of the Stakeholder Forums structure, the user-centred learning and capacity-building approach will be used.

The Stakeholder Forums will cover a broad spectrum of themes related with the digitalization of measures and plans, development of an interoperable ecosystem of data and tools, energy transition decision making, etc. Each forum will focus on a specific development and provide a thematic input followed by a discussion and feedback session with the aim to receive guidance and feedback on ePLANET.

developments from the participants.

ePLANET in a nutshell:

One of the main challenges to achieve the Energy Transition objectives is to improve the coordination between local authorities and regional governments in order to optimise the decision-making process. Coherence and consistency on all levels in implementing energy transition measures are key to speeding up developments.

However, the platforms used by each government are heterogeneous, which leads to loss of information and difficulties to share data and engage communities. ePLANET is addressing this challenge and facilitates and eases the deployment of coordinated energy transition actions by the public sector. The project will use the most innovative tools in artificial intelligence and big data together with an innovative clustering governance to boost Energy Transition Plans at the municipal level. Additionally, it will foster the digitalisation of energy data available in dispersed data sources, of energy transition measures and Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs), enabling an ecosystem of data and tools to support decision-making on energy transition.
